Skylight Cabins

Enjoy the open kitchen-living space: socialise in front of the TV and feature-fireplace on the large corner sofa, or sit down for a family meal at the booth dining table. The floor to ceiling windows at the front of the Skylight Cabins are what gives this accommodation its name – allowing you to enjoy the wooded surroundings. Downstairs you will find a modern family shower room.

At night, transform the Cabin into your sleeping space. Pull the blinds down, and pull out the sofa bed. The mezzanine level is home to two single beds suitable for children only, and additional storage space.

Our Skylight Cabins sit within the Rookery, home to our resident rooks who nest with their young in the open canopy trees. The nesting season is between the spring and early summer, and during this time they do make a considerable amount of noise which can wake you up in the morning – they may also cause a lot of mess! You may wish to park your vehicle at the designated parking area adjacent to the Skylight Cabins. Though the noise doesn’t affect all of our guests, you may wish to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

In our Skylight Cabins you will find the following inventory: a well-equipped kitchen with gas hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave grill, toaster and kettle, as well as all the utensils, crockery and cutlery you’d need.

Bedding is provided for your stay but please bring your own towels, or you may hire these for the duration of your stay at an additional cost.

Outside each Skylight Cabin is a picnic table and a space for one car. You may bring an additional car at an extra charge, however you may not be able to park it directly next to your Skylight Cabin.

Bring up to 2 dogs at an additional charge per night.

Arrival and Departures

Check in for all Skylight Cabins is from 4:00pm on the day of arrival. Check in must be before 9:00pm, unless arranged with us prior to your arrival.

Please vacate your Skylight Cabin before 10:00am on the day of departure.
