Sea View Campervan Pitch

Our Sea View Campervan Pitches are a great stop to add to your tour of the Jurassic Coast. These pitches are positioned just outside of the Holiday Park at the back of the public car park for Durdle Door. As the name suggests, these pitches overlook the sea with views of Portland on a clear day. In peak times the car park will be busy, though once it closes each evening, you are left to enjoy the views. These pitches are set on a significant slope, so please bring chocks or levellers with you.

These pitches are for campervans and small motorhomes 5.5m in length or less only.

Our Sea View Campervan Pitches include:

• Grass standing, unallocated pitch
• Electric hookup on the pitch
• Access to shared water point to the rear of the pitches, plus additional points within the park
• Access to toilet and shower facilities (open 23 hours a day), including baby changing facilities and accessible wet room (please bring a radar key).
• Access to dishwashing area with USB charging points
• Access to grey waste disposal points
• Access to chemical disposal point
• Park facilities (read more below)
• Up to 6 guests included in pitch price

The toilet, shower and dishwashing facilities are a 400m walk from the Sea View Campervan Pitches.

These pitches are suitable only for the following vehicle types: 

• Motorhomes*
• Campervans*

*Converted vehicles must have a minimum of a fixed bed/rock and roll bed and built in storage cupboards. If you are unsure, please contact our customer care team.

 These pitches are not suitable for, and do not permit, any of the following: 

• Vehicles longer than 5.5m. Please note that you will not be permitted to stay, and will not be given a refund if your vehicle is larger than this.
• Tents, gazebos (including pup tents and storage tents), or windbreaks
• Caravans, trailer tents, roof tents, horseboxes, RVs & converted buses
• Sign written/commercial vehicles
• Vehicles that have not been converted (including cars as sleeping units)

You are welcome to bring an awning with you for an additional cost, however they must remain attached to your campervan/small motorhome at all times, and cannot be left unattended on the pitch.

Arrival and Departures

Check in is from 2:00pm on the day of arrival. Check in must be before 9:00pm. There is no parking available on the park prior to check in.

Check out is no later than 11:00am on the day of departure.

You should bring with you:

• Chocks/Levellers – these pitches are on a significant slope, so levellers are essential!
• EHU lead – the hook up could be on either side of your vehicle, so we recommend leads of a minimum 15m in length (the use of splitters is not permitted)
• Water hose with attachment
• Outdoor furniture

We welcome the use of BBQs on the Sea View Campervan Pitches – but ask you to think of the stunning local environment, and only bring a reusable one. We do not permit disposable BBQs anywhere on the park. All BBQs must be raised off of the ground, and should only be burned using charcoal or gas; we do not allow any camp fires on the park.
